Moo The Greedy Cow written in 5th grade by "Jimmy" Reardon There once was a cow named Moo. He was a greedy cow. If he saw a cow even close to "his grass", he would attack. He was so greedy he wouldn't give the farmer his milk. That's where his problem was. What good is a cow that won't give milk. Why buy a cow if the milk is free? For hamburgers and steak. That's why. That's what the farmer thought. But along with greedy, this cow was sly. The farmer couldn't get him into the butcher house. He tried having cow snacks to the ax, that didn't work. He tried chasing it with a gun. That didn't work. He found some scrap metal lieng around and built a vest. This is one smart cow. But as you know being greedy is will get you in trouble. That is how he got done in. The farmer thought of one final plan. He would cut all the grass except the patch in the butchar house. The cow quickly went to claim it all. When he did, off went his head. THE END! MORAL: Curiosity killed the cat, greed killed the cow.
